Our stairlifts come with various features and benefits and we want to ensure we provide the best possible solution for you and your home. When visiting to assess the staircase and advise on the most appropriate solution, our stairlift expert will be able to provide an estimated installation time, which will depend on what type of staircase you have.
For stairlifts that are required for staircases without any bends or turns (straight), the manufacturing and delivery process takes between 6-10 working days from point of order.
For staircases that have bends or turns (curved), our rails are individually designed and handmade by our skilled craftsmen to ensure the best possible fit on your staircase. The process to design and manufacture these curved rails take between 8 to 15 working days.
The average stairlift installation takes between two and four hours to complete. Occasionally we may need to make slight alterations prior to installation, such as moving a radiator, but we can arrange for this work to be completed and will include this within your quotation.
There is very little mess created, and because our stairlifts are fitted to the stair and not the wall there’s no structural damage at all. What’s more, all of our installers carry a vacuum cleaner so that they can tidy up any mess and leave your home looking exactly how they found it when they arrived.
Finally, our installation engineers are also focused on teaching customers how to use the new stairlift and will not leave your home until you thoroughly understand how to use all of its features. Most importantly, making sure that you are happy with the installation!
With a Stannah stairlift, you can be sure that you get the equipment you need with everything arranged for, and around, you. It won’t be long before you are enjoying all the benefits that a Stannah stairlift can bring so you can keep on being you.
