Stannah is proud to support The Captain Tom Foundation

On May Day Bank Holiday 2021 (30 April – 3 May )  Stannah celebrated Captain Sir Tom Moore’s amazing achievements. His simple message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – brought comfort and joy to millions around the world, and it was our turn to continue his inspiring legacy and raise funds for The Captain Tom Foundation.

Why is The Foundation so important?

The Captain Tom Foundation was set up to ensure Captain Sir Tom’s message of hope becomes a lasting legacy and supports causes that were close to his heart.

Why we are working with them?

At Stannah, making a difference to people’s lives is at the heart of everything we do. We are incredibly proud to have counted Captain Sir Tom as a valued customer and are honoured to be partnered with The Foundation for this fundraising event.

“What happened to my father, Captain Sir Tom, in 2020 was truly extraordinary and we were so buoyed by the support we were shown from far and wide which gave him renewed purpose and energy. We remain incredibly grateful to our friends at Stannah who continue to support us to help ensure my father’s message of hope lives on through The Captain Tom Foundation. Together we really can make sure tomorrow will be a good day.”

Taking part

Either complete your 100 challenge in your own time, or take part over the weekend of Friday 30th April – Monday 3rd May. This could be walking 100 steps or running 100 metres, scoring 100 goals or baking 100 cakes!

Encourage your family and friends to take up the challenge and share your 100 on social media using #CaptainTom100. Together let’s honour Captain Sir Tom on what would have been his 101st birthday.
