Stannah Microifts Ltd, home to our goods-only lifts, is part of the Stannah Group of Companies and is the largest independent lift manufacturer in the UK.
Established in the mid 1800s by Joseph Stannah, the company is still wholly owned by the Stannah family. We earned our engineering pedigree with the manufacture of cranes, hoists and passenger lifts.
Today the Group is home to the manufacture of passenger lifts, access lifts and stairlifts, and the distribution of goods and service lifts, escalators and moving walkways. We also have a thriving UK-wide service network and worldwide subsidiaries distributing our stairlifts.
